Polymaker™ PETG – High-Speed, High-Strength, High-Quality Filament
New High Speed Formula
Engineered to print faster without losing strength or quality. Its high-flow formulation enables clean, accurate extrusion at speeds up to 300 mm/s, or over 500mm/s with high-flow nozzles while maintaining excellent layer adhesion, durability and surface finish.
Stronger, Smoother, and More Reliable
Designed for dependable performance, our new formula delivers superior inter-layer bonding, low warping, and a clog-free experience even during long prints. The result is strong, dimensionally stable parts with a professional appearance right off the bed.
Perfect for Prototypes & End-Use Parts
From gears, brackets, and fixtures to outdoor tools, sports accessories, and cosplay props, Polymaker PETG provides the perfect balance of toughness, flexibility, and aesthetic quality. Its chemical resistance and temperature tolerance (~70 °C HDT) make it ideal for both indoor and outdoor functional applications.
Easy to Print on Any Setup
Compatible with most FDM printers, Polymaker™ PETG prints smoothly without the need for an enclosure and works seamlessly with AMS and multi-material systems for reliable filament feeding and color swaps.
Warning: Polymaker PETG is very hygroscopic, keep your filament dry to prevent excessive stringing.
Note: Polylite PETG will be discontinued and replaced by the faster, stronger and easier to print successor, Polymaker PETG.

How fast can Polymaker™ PETG print?
With a standard nozzle up to 300mm/s easily, with a high flow nozzle you can achieve printing speeds up to 500mm/s or greater!
Do I need to use the cooling fan with Polymaker™ PETG?
Yes, minimum fan speed 20% at 30 second layer time and maximum fan speed 60% with 10 second layer time.
Is this material AMS compatible?
Yes! All Polymaker spools now have hardened edges that roll great in the AMS.
Is this material food safe?
Unfortunately we do not have any data whether this material is food safe. As of now, no 3D printing material on the market is FDA food safe compliant.
Can I use a textured PEI build plate with Polymaker™ PETG?
Yes, however you need to let the print and bed sheet cool to room temp before removing. Recommended to use a bed separation agent if needed.
How does PETG compare to PLA or ABS?
More durable and heat-resistant than PLA, easier to print and less odorous than ABS, with better water and chemical resistance.
Is Polymaker™ PETG hygroscopic?
Yes, recommended to use PolyDryer™ Box for storing after opened. PETG is very hygroscopic and will cause stringing and surface defects if not properly dried.
Can PETG be used for outdoor applications?
Yes, PETG is UV and water-resistant, making it suitable for outdoor parts, though prolonged exposure may degrade some properties.
Can I print without an enclosure?
Yes, an enclosure is not needed for PETG.
Will the Galaxy glitters clog my nozzle?
Not with a 0.4mm size or larger nozzle. We have tested large prints with the Galaxy colors to be sure this is not an issue.
